I believe technology should be used intentionally to enhance learning, increase engagement, and create meaningful opportunities for student growth. Technology is most effective when it supports high-quality instruction, encourages active participation, and helps make learning more accessible, interactive, and personalized for all students.
In elementary education, technology can be a powerful tool for supporting diverse learners through visual supports, differentiated instruction, interactive practice, and accessibility features that help students engage with content in ways that meet their individual needs. I believe technology should be used to remove barriers, build confidence, and provide students with additional pathways to success.
I also value technology as a tool for collaboration, communication, creativity, and assessment. Whether supporting small-group intervention, monitoring student progress, communicating with families, or providing engaging learning experiences, technology can strengthen both teaching and learning when used with purpose and balance.
At the same time, I believe technology should complement—not replace—meaningful teacher-student relationships, hands-on learning, discussion, and developmentally appropriate instructional practices.
My goal is to use technology thoughtfully to create engaging, accessible, and student-centered learning experiences that support academic growth, independence, and lifelong learning.
